How to get there:

Sun City is about 2 hours away from Johannesburg by car. There is almost no public transportation, so the best way is to drive. From Johannesburg, take National Highway 1 north to Pretoria, then take National Highway 4, through Rustenburg, to Sun City.

Sun City Ticket Prices:

Wave Valley: Adults 60 rand, children under 12 years old 35 rand, children under 3 years old free. Tickets include Wave Valley and open-air theater. Hotel guests can enter for free with room card.

Scenic area opening hours:

Royal Palace Hotel: The Royal Palace Hotel is not open to non-hotel guests. Groups can purchase tickets and register to visit public areas. The ticket price is 80 rand. Guests staying at the Royal Palace Hotel must bring their room cards when entering and leaving.

Bridge of Time: 10:00-17:00 in winter, 9:00-18:00 in summer

Sun City Hotel Casino opening hours: 13:00 on weekdays and 11:00 on weekends.

Jungle Casino Entertainment Center Opening Hours: 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays, and 10:00-1:00 midnight on other days.

Bingo room opening hours: Wednesday 17:00-22:00, Friday 17:00-24:00, Saturday 15:00-24:00, Sunday 12:00-21:00.

The GaryPlayer court is closed on Mondays.

The Lost City Stadium is closed on Tuesdays.

Wave Valley: 9:00-18:00 in summer, 10:00-17:00 in winter, closed for maintenance from May to June.
