Introduction to the amphitheatre: Located on the mountainside platform between the Palace Hotel and Wave Valley, it is a Roman-style amphitheatre. In order to express the devastation caused by the earthquake, the amphitheater of the Lost City deliberately created an atmosphere of desolation and decay. Broken columns fell into the grass and the porch was covered with vines. The Roman Theater of the Lost City is sometimes used as a formal performance venue and can accommodate 800 spectators.
