Scenic spot introduction:

Mashan National Nature Reserve is located 39 kilometers north of Qingdao City and west of Jimo City. It consists of five hills: Mashan, Dashan, Baoan Mountain, Tuanshan and Changling, with a total area of ​​7.7425 square kilometers. There are geological relics such as columnar joint stone groups, petrified wood groups, sedimentary structures, contact metamorphic zones, etc. It is called a "pocket geological museum" by the geological community. It was approved by the State Council as a national nature reserve in 1994, and in 2002 by the Shandong Provincial People's Government as a Shandong Provincial Geopark.
