Scenic spot introduction:

The Yuhua Palace of Tang Dynasty was originally named Renzhi Palace and later changed to Yuhua Temple. The site is located on Yuhua Mountain, 2 kilometers north of Yuhua Village, Yuhua Township, Tongchuan City. Renzhi Palace was built on May 15th, the seventh year of Wude (Qiu 4th year) by Li Yuan, Emperor Gaozu of the Tang Dynasty. It was expanded and renamed Yuhua Palace on May 17th, the 20th year of Zhenguan (647 AD) by Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty.

Attractions distribution:

The entire palace site of Yuhua Palace includes a vast area in the three valleys of Yuhua Mountain: Phoenix Valley, Coral Valley, and Lanzhi Valley. It has five tall palace gates and nine towering palaces. Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty made the Yuhua Palace inscription in this palace in April of the 22nd year of Zhenguan. He ordered the crown prince Li Zhi to merge with him. Now only the crown prince Li Zhi's peace inscription has been handed down to the world. In June of the 22nd year of Zhenguan, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty summoned Xuan Lei in this hall. In the second year of Emperor Gaozong's reign (AD 651), the palace was abandoned and renamed Yuhua Temple. In October of the fourth year of Xianqing reign of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty, he ordered Xuan Lei to translate Buddhist scriptures at Yuhua Temple.
