Bible Mountain Scenic Area is a famous tourist and leisure resort integrating natural scenery, Taoist culture and cultural landscape. Bible Mountain is located in Gejia Town, Wendeng City, Weihai. It is the southern branch of Kunyu Mountain, the first mountain in the Jiaodong Peninsula, the ancestor of the sea fairy mountains, with an altitude of 385 meters. The two huge rocks on the top of the mountain are respectively engraved with the three characters "Bible Mountain" and nearly 5,000 characters of "Tao Shang Laozi's Tao Te Ching", hence the name. During the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, Wang Chongyang, the founder of the Quanzhen sect of Taoism, founded the sect here and preached scriptures. It was highly praised and flourished for a while.

Every year from May 20th to 22nd, Bible Mountain holds the Wendeng Kunyu Mountain Meeting, which launches activities such as folk art performances, Taoist Quanzhen root-seeking tours, calligraphy and stone carving culture training, and economic and trade negotiations.

How to get there:

The roads inside and outside the scenic area are smooth. It is 20 kilometers away from Wendeng City, 50 kilometers away from Weihai City, 60 kilometers away from Yantai City, and 180 kilometers away from Qingdao City. It is only about an hour's flight from Beijing, Shanghai, Japan, and South Korea. The territory is connected to major highways such as Ronglan, Shiqing, Shiyan and Qingwei special roads. It is connected to Wendeng Railway Station within 20 kilometers, Weihai Airport within 30 kilometers, and Wendeng Port within 40 kilometers.

Self-driving routes:

It can be accessed from the east, west, south and north of National Highway 309 at Chijinbo and Shangze Highway and Geyan Highway.

Bus lines:

1. Wendeng long-distance bus station: Wendeng → Bible Mountain bus, which goes directly to the scenic spot. There are 6 departures a day, about 4 yuan/person.
