Lin'an Taihuyuan Scenic Area in Hangzhou is characterized by pristine nature and enjoys the reputation of "Little Jiuzhaigou". In the Taihuyuan Canyon, there are cliffs, continuous green mountains, shady trees, brilliant mountain flowers, clear streams singing, hanging waterfalls and cascading waterfalls. The scenery is charming all year round. The source of Taihu Lake is also a paradise for wild animals, home to a variety of nationally protected animals. Taihuyuan Scenic Area is located in Baisha Village, Taihuyuan Town, at the southern foot of Tianmu Mountain, about 30 kilometers away from Lin'an City. The scenic spot mainly includes 15 scenic spots such as Longxubi, Yunbitan, Siyuan Gallery, Qianren Cliff, Kamikaze Valley, Shuanglongtan, Ancient Buddhist Temple, Baizhangji, Immortal Terrace, and Jiyuan Altar. There are clouded leopards, black muntjacs, Macaques and other nationally protected animals. How to get there:
Bus route: Take bus No. 16 at the Xishu intersection in Lin'an and get off at Taihuyuan Scenic Area. The journey takes about 1 hour and the fare is about 7.5 yuan. The bus departs from Liushui.
Self-driving route: Take S205/S13 in Lin'an City to the source of Taihu Lake. Take the Hangzhou-Rui Expressway in the direction of Hangzhou and exit from Lin'an/S102 exit.

Ticket price for the source of Taihu Lake:
Adult tickets are 88 yuan; children under 1.2 meters are free; children between 1.2-1.5 meters and seniors over 70 years old are half price with a voucher.
Rock climbing is 30 yuan.
