Scenic spot introduction:

Hebei Daituo National Nature Reserve is located in the south of Chicheng County (Chicheng Town), Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, northwest of Beijing. It was founded in July 1999 and was promoted to a national nature reserve in July 2003. It is a typical mountain forest ecosystem type. The area has a complete range of biological categories, including China's unique animal and plant groups. The plant resources and economic animals are diverse, diverse, rare and representative. Due to its special geographical location, the reserve has special significance for restoring the forest ecosystem of the Baihe River Basin, preventing wind and sand fixation, enhancing water conservation capabilities, regulating climate, and improving the ecological environment around Beijing. Crossing route:

1. Beer Creek route: Shangbanquan - Beer Creek - Da Da Tuo - Xiao Haituo - Songshan, suitable for people with average physical strength. The disadvantage is that the journey is longer, more than an hour longer than other routes.

2. Xidazhuangke route: Xidazhuangke-Xiaohaituo-Anbu-Dahaituo-Dahaituo Village. The road is steep but the distance is short.

3. Da Da Tuo Village Route: Da Da Tuo Village - Xiao Haituo - Anbu - Da Da Tuo - Da Da Tuo Village. This route is the shortest and can reach the summit in the fastest 3 hours.

Self-driving route:

(1) Zhangjiakou direction

Zhangjiakou → Jiefang Road → Wuyi Street → Zhangcheng Expressway → Beijing-Tibet Expressway → S241 → Y082 → Haituo Nature Reserve.

(2) Beijing direction

Beijing → Beijing-Tibet Expressway → Kangzhang Road → Jingyin Road → X012 → Y082 → Haituo Nature Reserve.
