Scenic spot introduction:

Zhenlei Mountain is the location of the "Thunder Marsh Spraying Clouds" landscape, one of the eight scenic spots in Xinyang in history. Zhenlei Mountain looks like a sleeping beauty with two peaks rising side by side, forming the shape of two breasts. There are stone marshes on the tops of the two peaks. The water is clear and sweet, like milk. It is called "Nipple Mountain". It is said that Xinyang people miss their hometown because of this. According to the "Reconstruction of Xinyang County Chronicles": "It is said that there is a dragon lurking inside, and when people throw stones, they make a sound like thunder." Zhenlei Mountain got its name from this. In spring and summer, rain clouds emerge from the marsh every day and are shrouded in floating clouds, so it is called "Thunder Marsh Spraying Cloud". Superior water and land resources and a good ecological environment make Zhenlei Mountain beautiful all over the Central Plains. Zhenlei Mountain Scenic Area has complex and diverse terrain, unique natural landscapes, numerous historical relics and cultural landscapes, surrounded by three rivers, beautiful mountains and clear waters, and charming scenery.
