The Dayao Cultural Site in Hohhot is currently the only relic of a stone tool manufacturing factory from the Early Paleolithic Age in the world. Its large area, large number of unearthed cultural relics, and macroscopic scenes are rare in the world. The Dayao Cultural Site is located on the southern slope of Daqing Mountain. It is 500,000 to 600,000 years old. The creeks here are crisscrossed, which is very suitable for ancient human habitation.
