Saishang Old Street is one of the four old streets in the old city of Hohhot. It has the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and is known as the condensed image of old Hohhot. The old street is close to the famous Lama Temple - Dazhao Temple, which was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. There is a cross street on the west side of the gate with an archway, which is called Saishang Old Street.

Saishang Old Street is located near Dazhao Temple on Danan Street in Hohhot City, with a total length of 380 meters. Its architecture fully reflects the characteristics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Nowadays, the old street has been renovated. Most of the shops along the street are small brick and wood buildings with Ming and Qing styles. They mainly sell tourist souvenirs, ethnic handicrafts, ethnic supplies, and daily necessities.
