Scenic spot introduction:
General Suiyuan Mansion in Hohhot is located on the north side of the original Drum Tower in Xincheng West Street, Hohhot City. It was the product of the Qing Dynasty's pursuit of political and military rule over the desert and northern and southern Mongolian regions in order to consolidate the stability of the northwest border. In the 13th year of Yongzheng's reign (1735), the Qing government designated a city site five miles northeast of Guihua City (now the old city of Hohhot) for the purpose of moving troops to the north of Youweicheng. In the second year of Qianlong's reign, large-scale construction began. After four years (1739), the Qing government named it "Suiyuan City".Scenic spot qualifications:
