The Hong Kong Racing Museum is located on the 2nd floor of the Happy Grandstand at Happy Valley Racecourse in Hong Kong. It displays the history and information of Hong Kong's horse racing from 1840 to the present. The museum has 8 exhibition halls, an 84-seat cinema and gift galleries. The themes of each exhibition hall include the history of horse racing in Hong Kong, the development history of Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourse, as well as information on several famous horses of a generation, including the skeleton of three-time horse racing champion Lu Yi. The cinema regularly screens short films about horse racing, allowing visitors to have a better understanding of Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Jockey Club Museum was built for the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s horse racing activities and the Jockey Club’s charity. Enter through the main entrance of the Jockey Club Museum to find memories of Hong Kong’s horse racing history. The Hong Kong Racing Museum has a jersey design station. Interested visitors can use the computer to design a jersey at the jersey design station in the exhibition hall and create a unique certificate as a souvenir.
In addition to seeing past training tools, trophies, etc., you can also learn about horses through interactive games at the Horse Racing Museum. The game machine is specially set up by the museum to allow the audience to understand the basic knowledge of the horse's life cycle and structure through interaction.

How to get there:
Take the Island Line and get off at Causeway Bay Station (Exit A), then walk along Wong Nai Chung Road for about 15 minutes. Or take bus 37B, 75, 90, 97 or 590A from the bus terminal outside Admiralty MTR Station and get off at the main entrance of the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; if there is a day race at Happy Valley Racecourse, the museum closes earlier at 12:30 noon.
