Wawushan-Liujiang Ancient Town two-day tour

Day 1: Chengdu → Liujiang Ancient Town-Wawushan: Depart from Chengdu at about 8:30 in the morning via Yuemei Mountain on the Le Expressway, pass through Hongya, and arrive at Liujiang Ancient Town, one of the top ten ancient towns in Sichuan. . Have lunch in the ancient town at noon and taste the special dishes of the ancient town. After dinner, visit the ancient town under the guidance of a tour guide. Stay at the foot of Wawu Mountain for the night, and you can also attend a bonfire party at your own expense.

The next day: Wawushan → Chengdu: After breakfast, take the scenic sightseeing bus for about 40 minutes to Gufoping, the Mid-Levels Cableway Station. Then transfer to the sightseeing ropeway for 30 minutes to the Wawu Plateau at an altitude of 2,830 meters, where you can visit one of the few virgin forests in my country that have not been damaged by pollution. Watching the fourth century glaciers, what remains is the largest natural Davidia involucrata forest found in the world → the hometown of Chinese pigeon flower. Visit the majestic Lanxi Waterfall with a height of 1,040 meters, view the Rhododendron Forest, the largest natural flower sea landscape in the country, and visit the birthplace of Chinese Taoism. How to get there:

Bus Station: Xinnanmen Bus Station: Departs at 7:40 am every day, every hour, fare: 38 yuan/person, and ends at 5:40 pm.

Hongya County Bus Station: Departs at 7:00 am every day, every 30 minutes, fare: 20 yuan/person (to Wuzhuang) and 28 yuan/person for Hongya and Jinhuaqiao, afternoon Pick up the car at 4:30.

Self-driving: The road conditions from Chengdu to Hongya are very good, making it suitable for self-driving travel. It takes about 2 hours of driving to reach Hongya County. Go out at Hongya County Station, turn left, go straight for about 300 meters, cross the bridge, and you will see another station where there is a CMB that goes directly to Wawu Mountain. The fare is 10 yuan and the journey takes nearly 2 hours.
