Scenic spot introduction:
The Hongdou Gorge in the Huguan Taihang Grand Canyon is named after the rare tree species, yew, which grows in large tracts. It is recognized as "China's No. 1 Love Gorge" and is also a unique place for lovers to meet. Hongdou Gorge has narrow exits at both ends and a wide hinterland, shaped like a gourd. Along the gorge, there are cliffs on both sides, strange rocks intertwined in the hinterland of the peak, ancient temples and ruins on the bank still exist, hanging waterfalls, springs dotted between the cliffs, gurgling river valleys, ancient trees, rare tree species and various plants all over the canyon. The 30-mile long valley is a distant place where natural scenery and cultural landscape complement each other. It can be called a 30-mile valley and a 30-mile gallery. Hongdouxia is a natural botanical garden. According to a preliminary investigation by botanists, there are more than 330 species of plants growing in the canyon, including many rare plants and plants with high ornamental taste. The environment, climate, scale and taste here all meet the standards of a natural botanical park. It is a good place for leisure, tourism, viewing and research of plants. From Changzhi Passenger Transport Center Station, take a bus bound for Huguan County. After getting off, take a taxi or charter a bus to the scenic spot.

Hongdou Gorge ticket price:
Adult tickets are RMB 80, insurance is RMB 2;
Students and senior citizens aged 60-69 can enjoy a half-price discount with their student ID or senior ID, and half-price for children between 1.2m and 1.4m;
Active military personnel , Seniors over 70 years old with valid ID are free, and children under 1.2 meters in height are free.
