Huozhou Drum Tower, also known as Wenchang Pavilion, is located in the center of Huozhou. It was built in the 11th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1583 AD). The architecture is exquisite, exquisite and unique. It is the essence of Ming Dynasty architectural art and has been included in the "Dictionary of Chinese Scenic Spots". The building area is 225 square meters. The bottom brick cross-volume arch passage runs through the four main streets in the southeast and northwest. The upper part is an all-wood attic with a Bagua glazed roof and a triple-eaves cross-rest mountain. The total height is 27 meters. A gold plaque is hung above the lintel of the roof around the first floor of the attic. The east is "Protect the country and secure the people", the south is "Fu Yuan Kaihua", the west is "Lan Xiu Xihe", and the north is "Guarantee the Hope of Hebei". north". The font of the plaque is vigorous and powerful, written by Shen Peng, chairman of the National Calligraphers Association, and provincial calligraphers Xu Wenda and Guo Boying.
