Bam Castle is the largest existing earth structure building in the world. The oldest part of the castle, built entirely of adobe bricks, dates back to 2,000 years ago. It is located in the city of Bam in the plains of Iran. This is one of the oldest cities in Iran. It was formed about 6,000 years ago and was a must-stop for the "Silk Road" and "Spice Road". In 2003, a strong earthquake of magnitude 6.3 occurred near the city of Bam in Kerman Province in southeastern Iran. 90% of the buildings in this thousand-year-old city collapsed during the earthquake, and a large number of historical monuments were destroyed.

Although Bam Castle was destroyed by the earthquake, it is currently being rebuilt. There is a cultural heritage stone monument at the door. There are flowers everywhere behind the garrison camp, which contrasts with the old castle.
