Kitakami Exhibition Resort is the Kitakami National Park Exhibition Resort in Japan. It has a 2-kilometer-long cherry blossom avenue and is a famous cherry blossom viewing resort in Japan. The Kitakami Zen Resort is located on the banks of the Kitakami River. Through a tree planting project that started in 1920, Taisho 9, as many as 100,000 cherry trees of 150 species have been planted on 293 hectares of land, forming a spectacular sight. From the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms to the Kasumi cherry blossoms that bloom in early May, the blooming seasons are slightly staggered, giving people a steady stream of visual feasts.
