How to get there:
Road to Apple: 1. Take the JR Tohoku Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Morioka Station, transfer to the JR Tohoku Main Line to Aomori Station, then transfer to the Ou Main Line to Hirosaki Station, which takes about 5 hours and 30 minutes. It takes about 3 hours and 55 minutes to take the JR Akita Shinkansen from Tokyo Station to Akita Station.
2. It takes about 50 minutes by bus from Hirosaki Bus Terminal to Tashiro.
3. Take the JR Ou Main Line from Akita Station to Higashi-Noshiro Station for about 50 minutes.
4. Take the JR Gono Line from Higashi-Noshiro Station to Akita Shirakami Mountain Range for about 33 minutes.
