Xinye Ancient Village in Jiande is the filming location for the second stop of "Where Are We Going, Dad 2" and is currently the largest village inhabited by the Ye family in China. The ancient village is located in Daciyan Town, Jiande City. It has a history of more than 800 years and has more than 200 Ming and Qing buildings. It is known as the largest open-air museum of ancient Ming and Qing residential buildings in China. Entering the ancient village, walking among the secluded alleys and first-level bluestone slabs, visitors can read about the changes and sighs of the years, from the smooth and concise style of the Ming Dynasty to the rich and colorful algae of the Qing Dynasty, and even the return to simplicity in modern times.

An important feature of the ancient architectural culture of Xinye Ancient Village is the ancestral hall. Although it has gone through many vicissitudes, thirteen ancestral halls including Chongren Hall, Youxu Hall, Rongshou Hall, Wancui Hall, Yongxi Hall and Shuangmei Hall are still preserved. The landmark buildings of the ancient village are Tuanyun Pagoda, Wenchang Pavilion, and Tutu Temple. The combination of the three reflects the ideals and pursuits of the Ye family in the agricultural era of farming, reading, and inheriting the family. In addition to ancient buildings, the cultural and natural scenery of the ancient village are equally attractive. The lotus ponds and rapeseed fields are mesmerizing, and the warmth and simplicity of old and young people enjoying each other also warm the heart. The ancient village is a rare paradise with its white walls and black tiles.
