Scenic spot introduction:

Qinglian Temple, originally named Gaoshan Pavilion, is located at the northern foot of Yanshan Mountain in Xindian Village, Chidian Town, Jinjiang, Quanzhou. In the 20th year of Yongdong's reign in the Ming Dynasty, the censor Chen Yingliang donated his salary to support the construction in memory of his old friend Chen Qinglian, a lay scholar. It was originally a double-story pavilion with four corners and pointed roofs, with green tiles and missing railings. The top floor was surrounded on all sides, dedicated to the great ancestor Guanyin.
