Devil City is a type of wind-eroded landform formed in arid and windy environment. It is also the nickname of Urho Wind City. It is located in the Urho mining area on the lower reaches of the Jiamu River on the northwest edge of the Junggar Basin, 100 kilometers southwest of Karamay City. The landscape here is peculiar. Looking from a distance, you will admire its magnificence and majesty, and marvel at the uncanny workmanship of nature. The Devil's City runs northwest and east-west, with a length and width of more than 5 kilometers, a radius of about 10 square kilometers, and an altitude of about 350 meters. How to get there:
After arriving in Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang, take a bus to Mingyuan (Karamay’s office in Urumqi). It takes about 3 hours to reach Karamay. The shuttle bus leaves every hour to Karamay City and Baijiantan District, and the fare is 105 yuan. .
