Karamay Dinosaur Cultural Park is the only dinosaur-themed humanistic tourism landscape in Xinjiang. The park is located on the west side of National Highway 217 in Urho District, Karamay City. It complements the Urho Devil City Scenic Area. The entire Dinosaur Cultural Park integrates science popularization and appreciation. , amusement as one, revealing the profound theme of interdependence and harmonious coexistence of life and environment. During the Cretaceous period about 100 million years ago, the Urho area was once a huge freshwater lake. Lush plants grew on the lakeshore. Urho stegosaurus, plesiosaurs, Dzungar pterosaurs and other ancient animals lived in the water. . According to relevant records, on July 18, 1964, several petroleum geological surveyors excavated a relatively complete pterosaur skeleton 15 kilometers southeast of Urho Devil City. Since then, many more have been discovered in nearby areas. With the fossils of five or six species of dinosaurs, Urho is believed to have been the habitat of dinosaurs in ancient times.

Attractions distribution:

The Dinosaur Cultural Garden covers an area of ​​57,000 square meters. The water system in the garden is shaped like a huge dinosaur body. From the left side of the entrance square, there are six sculptures: The Birth of the Dinosaur, Loving Mother Care, Danger Attack, Hard Journey, Dinosaur Struggle for Hegemony, and Harmonious Home. , a total of 12 species of 16 dinosaur sculptures, as well as a group of hatchling baby dragon sculptures, a cast iron dinosaur skeleton sculpture and two pterosaur sculptures, which truly reproduce the process of dinosaurs from birth, prosperity to extinction.
