Kashgar Panlu City is the ruins of a castle where Banchao, a famous general of the Eastern Han Dynasty, stationed here for 17 years. The castle is located on the bank of the Tuman River in the southeastern suburbs of Kashgar City. It is also called "Eskesa" city and is one of the thirty-six countries in the Western Regions. In 73 AD, Banchao established his foothold in Shule and used Panlu City as his base for managing the Western Regions. He defeated the Xiongnu forces and completed the grand cause of unifying the Western Regions.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Frenchman Pelliot and Chihe visited the Panlu City site for on-site investigation. At that time, the city wall was built along the north and west sections. The north wall was 287 meters long, the outer wall was 205 meters long, and the wall base was about 7 meters thick. rice. The city's plane is approximately a trapezoid, covering a total area of ​​nearly 20 acres. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, most of the ancient city ruins were occupied by factory units, with only a section of the old city ruins about 8 meters long and nearly 3 meters high remaining. In 1994, in order to commemorate Ban Chao, a famous politician, strategist, and diplomat in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the local government built Panlu City on the site of the original ancient city, covering an area of ​​14.5 acres. With the Ban Chao statue as the center, the 36 warrior statues were symmetrical along the Shinto. Lined with a 36-meter-long, 9-meter-high large-scale semicircular relief screen wall, there are gates, ancient pavilions, stone archways, ancient city walls, and beacon buildings.
