How to get there:

Airport: Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport (CCU), commonly known as Kolkata Airport, is in memory of the Indian independence movement leader Subhas Chandra Bose Sri (i.e. "Netaji") and changed his name. The airport is the largest airport in eastern India and it is the main departure center for all flights to northeast India and Bangladesh. The airport has three terminals, namely domestic, international and cargo terminals. It is 17 kilometers away from the city center. Taking a prepaid taxi to the city will cost about 150-250 rupees.

Train: Howrah Station is one of the two main railway stations in Kolkata. It is located in Howrah City on the west bank of the Hooghly River. The nearby Howrah Bridge connects it with Kolkata. It is the second oldest railway station in India and one of the largest in the country. Trains from this station lead to Kolkata, West Bengal, and most major cities in India.
