Taizi Mountain, also known as Dazhi Mountain, is the boundary between the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Loess Plateau. The mountains here are spectacular and majestic, covered with clouds and fog. Climb up and look into the distance. You can see the forest sea, pine waves, strange rocks and peaks, and the snow-capped mountains "reflecting the moon", and feel the sky and the high ground. Bo, the land is vast and the resources are abundant. Taizi Mountain is located in the mountainous area in the southwest of Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province, bordering Xiahe, Hehe, and Zhuoni counties in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. It is the link between the Central Plains culture and the snowy culture, and is a fortress fortified by military strategists of past dynasties. According to legend, Fusu, the eldest son of the First Emperor of Qin, once led troops to fight here, hence the name of Taizi Mountain. Its main mountain body is composed of three peaks: the Gongtaizi, the Mutaizi and the Sleeping Prince. Dragon Boat Festival Temple Fair (folk songs and sacrificial activities): It is said that a long time ago, the folk song festival and sacrificial activities were because the Taizi Mountain God protected the peace and happiness of the local Hui, Tibetan and Han people. It was a collective gathering of people of all ethnic groups to worship the Taizi Mountain God. Later, due to the magical legend of Taizi Mountain, local people spontaneously came here to perform sacrificial activities. Therefore, it gradually started on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month every year to form a temple (folk song) festival, which has been passed down to this day.
