Lushun 203 Highland Scenic Area was the commanding heights of the Western Front in the Russo-Japanese War and an important battleground between Japan and Russia. It has the largest cherry blossom garden in the country with the most cherry blossom trees and the most complete varieties. Because it is 203 meters above sea level, it is called Highland 203. The scenic area is surrounded by mountains, shrouded in clouds and mist, lush flowers, plants and trees, and the natural and cultural landscapes complement each other, attracting an endless stream of tourists.

Highland 203 is located in Sanliqiao, Lushunkou District, Dalian City, also known as "Monkey Rock Mountain", covering an area of ​​nearly 500,000 square meters. The scenic area preserves a large area of ​​evergreen black pine forest and a 33,000-square-meter cherry blossom garden. It is a national forest park and a provincial cultural relic protection unit. The scenic spot is mainly divided into two parts. One is the "203 Highland Exhibition Hall", which contains nearly a hundred historical photos and dozens of historical relics, which records the entire process of the Russo-Japanese War from 1904 to 1905 in detail. The other is a variety of cherry blossom gardens, with more than 2,000 varieties of Chinese cherry, Japanese early cherry, double cherry, snow cherry, mountain cherry and other varieties. The scenic area also has a stunt show, which amazed countless audiences. Mr. Yu Shunye, the "king of reverse riding," once performed here.
