Mogan Mountain got its name from the fact that in the late Spring and Autumn Period, King Wu sent Mo Xie and Gan Jiang to forge unparalleled male and female swords here. The total area of the scenic spot is 43 square kilometers, with an average altitude of 500 meters. The area is green and clear like the sea of bamboo. Recommended route for a two-day tour of Mogan Mountain:
Day 1: Mogan Lake → Mao Zedong’s stay → Yinshan Cave;

The annual average temperature is 13-16℃, the average temperature in the coldest month (January) is 3.5℃, and the average temperature in the hot month (July) is 28.5℃. The frost-free period is 220-236 days, and the average annual precipitation is 1379 mm.

How to get there:
The transportation in Moganshan is extremely convenient. The Xuanhang Railway passes by the mountain, and tourists can go there by train. In addition, National Highway 104 and Provincial Highway Qiao (Qiao Si) Mo (Mogan Mountain) line go directly to the top of the mountain. The Hangzhou-Nanjing Expressway passes right by the foot of the mountain. The construction of the expressway from Shanghai has been decided. 104 National Highway Crossing Station → Wukang has more than 20 "Mogan Mountain Scenic Area Tourist Vehicles", which are responsible for picking up and dropping off, and they can stop at the beckoning, which is very convenient.
