Fiordland National Park is New Zealand's largest park and one of the largest national parks in the world. Located at the southwestern tip of New Zealand's South Island, on the edge of the Tasman Sea, Fiordland National Park is called Te Wahipunam, meaning "Emerald Land." 1. The Department of Environmental Protection has set up more than 50 hiker huts in the park. Visitors can find Great Walk cabins on the Milford, Kepler and Routeburn walks. There are also many simple huts on other walks, most of which are platforms with mattresses and equipped with toilet facilities and water supply.

2. There are three New Zealand "Excellent Walking Trails" in the park. The most famous and most visited one is the Milford Walk, which takes 5 days to complete. The Kepler Track is a 4-day circular route. The Routeburn Walk passes through Mount Aspiring National Park and takes three days to complete.

3. Taking a yacht to enjoy the scenery of Milford Sound is the most comfortable and convenient way. Some other fjords also need to be explored by kayak.
