Ningbo Baoguo Temple is one of the oldest existing wooden structures in China and the most complete preserved Northern Song Dynasty wooden structure in Jiangnan. It is known as "the unique one in Jiangnan". Baoguo Temple is located on the hillside of Lingshan Mountain in Jiangbei District, Ningbo City. It covers an area of ​​13,280 square meters. Baoguo Temple was first built in the Eastern Han Dynasty. There was originally a "Lingshan Temple" on the mountain, also called the "Temple of the Hussar General Zhang". Emperor Xizong and Li Xuan gave it a plaque with the name "Baoguo Temple" and it was later renamed Baoguo Temple.

The 73-hectare Lingshan Scenic Area outside Baoguo Temple is located on the banks of the beautiful Cijiang River and the mysterious Linglong Spring. It has a good ecological environment, many ancient and famous trees, fresh air, and a clean and scattered environment. There are more than ten scenic spots such as Linglong Spring, Diejin Terrace, Qingyi Pavilion, and Xianren Bridge.
