Guanluishan National Forest Park is a national tourist area composed of dangerous mountains, strange peaks, forests, lakes and rare birds and animals. Guanluo Mountain belongs to the Luliang Mountains and is the birthplace of the Fen River, the main river that runs through Shanxi. Its mountains are steep, with deep forests and lush foliage, and criss-crossing ravines. The main peak, Luya Mountain, is 2,736 meters above sea level. It has a strange mountain shape and piles of huge rocks. Guanluishan National Forest Park includes Wuzhai, Shenchi, Kelan, Jingle and other counties and districts, and is composed of parts of Dashidong, Zhuqiangou, Majiazhuang, Gaoqiaowa, Yanjia Village and Huaidao Forest Farm, with a total area of About 44,330 hectares. The park is divided into seven major scenic areas: Luya Mountain Scenic Tourist Area, Heyeping Subalpine Meadow Ecological Area, Mayinghai Mountain Lake Tourist Area, Fenyuan Secondary Forest Scenic Area, Guanluishan Fault Geological Sightseeing Area, and Huangcaoliang Glacier Geological Area.
