South China University of Technology is one of the eight famous old schools of architecture in my country. The school is located in the famous southern city of Guangzhou. Its predecessor was during the national adjustment of colleges and universities in 1952. It consisted of Lingnan University, National Sun Yat-sen University and South China United University at that time. South China Institute of Technology was formed by merging related departments of Hunan University, Guangxi University, Wuhan University, Nanjing Institute of Technology (now Southeast University) and a total of 12 institutions in five provinces in Central and South China.
