travelling guideline:

1. The main feature of Qingcheng Mountain is "secluded", which is divided into Qingcheng front mountain and Qingcheng back mountain. The front mountain has beautiful scenery, numerous cultural relics and historic sites, and the most tourists; the natural scenery of the back mountain is mysterious, beautiful, original and gorgeous, like a paradise.

2. At the boundary of Yuecheng Lake, there is mountain climbing on the left and boating on Yuecheng Lake on the right. After crossing the lake, you can also choose to climb the mountain or take the cableway. Climbing the mountain is a bit more strenuous. If you are tired after walking to Yuecheng Lake, we recommend taking the cableway. It is best to choose a round-trip ticket, which is more affordable.

3. There are several roads up the mountain. It is recommended to start from Wulonggou and go up, passing through Jinwatuo → Youyi Village → Baiyun Cableway → Baiyun Temple → Cuiying Lake. The scenery along this way is the most beautiful, and there is no chance of getting lost.

4. It is recommended that tourists with a lot of luggage stay at the foot of the mountain. All tourists staying overnight must visit a few more hotels to see if basic facilities such as hot water are normal. Prices can be reduced during the off-season. Prepare some food and water. Prices are higher on the mountain and there are fewer places to eat.

5. It is recommended that tourists arrive at the mountain gate at around 8 o'clock in the morning, so that they can have plenty of time whether they are climbing up or down, or taking a ropeway and climbing a section of the mountain. If you go to Qingcheng Mountain after noon, it will be difficult to finish it in half a day. The back mountain is bigger than the front mountain. It will take 2 days to visit both the front and back mountains.
