Qujing Huashan Lake Travel Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

Qujing Huashan Lake is the first lake at the source of the Pearl River. It is a large artificial lake integrating flood control, water storage for irrigation, water supply and power generation, and tourism. The lake area is graceful, elegant, dignified and beautiful, like a dazzling pearl inlaid at the source of the Pearl River. Tourists take a yacht straight into the center of the lake. Facing the warm sunshine and the engraved waves, the yacht slowly travels along the lake that is about four kilometers long and one kilometer wide. What is unfolding in front of them is a wonderful scenery world. The lake surface is suddenly wide and narrow, sometimes blue and sometimes white, and a small island lined with strange rocks comes into view. The stones on the island stand like thick trees, densely packed and leaning on each other, forming a stone forest. This jungle is full of various shapes, some are like lions, some are like deer, some are like horses, some are like sheep, and some are like lotuses blooming in the water, and the fruits growing on the rocks are really beautiful. After walking through the small stone forest, there is Phoenix Mountain. It was originally two connected hills. Once the lake water rises, the two hills become two disconnected islands in the lake, just like two phoenixes playing in the water. The sky is blue, the water is green, and the mountains and rivers blend together, creating a picturesque natural beauty. Huashan Lake is located in Panjiang Town, Zhanyi County, Qujing City, northeastern Yunnan Province.
