How to get there:

Riyadh International Airport is an important air traffic channel in and out of Saudi Arabia. There are Cathay Pacific flights to Hong Kong twice a week. The direct flight from Urumqi to Jeddah, the second largest city in Saudi Arabia, stops at Sharjah, the third largest city in the United Arab Emirates.

There is no public transportation system in the city of Riyadh, there is not a single bus, and the only few lines are minibuses. Generally, the only way to travel is to take a taxi.

Precautions:

1. Taking photos in public places and scenic spots is prohibited in Saudi Arabia. You cannot take photos of people without their permission, especially Saudi women.

2. During the holy month of Ramadan (September of the Islamic calendar) in Saudi Arabia, except for patients, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children, eating, drinking and smoking are prohibited from sunrise to sunset.

3. People in Sabah pray five times a day. During the four prayers after noon, shops and government departments will stop operating. Therefore, going out to do errands needs to be arranged according to the prayer time to avoid being turned away.

4. Female friends should not wear shorts or skirts when going to the beach. They should also prepare a black robe. If you don’t wear a black robe when you go out, you will be arrested by the religious police immediately.
