Shaanxi Mizhi Jiang's Manor was built during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. Jiang Yaozu, the richest man in the village, asked experts from Beijing to design and recruit skilled craftsmen from the county to build it. It took thirteen years to build. Jiang's Manor has ingenious design, meticulous construction, compact layout, and is integrated from top to bottom. It takes strict precautions externally and is interconnected within the courtyard. It is a rare manor building in northern Shaanxi.

Jiang's Manor can be called an architectural treasure on the Loess Plateau. It is magnificent, built on the mountain, and takes the cave-dwelling castle architecture to its extreme. The entire manor is divided into three parts from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain: the lower courtyard, the middle courtyard, and the upper courtyard.
