Changdao National Nature Reserve is located in Changdao County, Yantai, Shandong Province. It is located between Jiaodong and Liaodong Peninsulas, at the intersection of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. It consists of 32 islands in the Changshan Archipelago and is an important passage and resting place for migratory birds. .
