Shanxi Guangsheng Temple was founded in the first year of Jianhe of the Eastern Han Dynasty (147). It was originally named Julushe Temple and was renamed to its current name in the Tang Dynasty. The temple is divided into upper and lower temples. The upper temple is at the top of Huoshan Mountain and the lower temple is at the foot of Huoshan Mountain. The two temples are more than 500 meters apart. Feihong Pagoda is the most famous building in Shangsi. It is the oldest and tallest glazed pagoda in my country and is known as the first glazed pagoda in China. The tower was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. It is 37 meters high and has 13 floors. Its surface is decorated with three-color colored glaze. Under the sun, the entire tower reflects colorful light, like a rainbow falling in the sky. "Flying" This is where the name “Hong Kong Tower” comes from. Guangsheng Temple is located at the southern foot of Huoshan Mountain, 17 kilometers northeast of Hongdong County, where Huoquan also originates. In 1961, it was listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council.

How to get there:

Bus: Take bus No. 5 from Hongdong County, the fare is 2 yuan.

Minibus: Tourists can take the minibus from Linfen or Hongdong to Guangshengsi Town. After getting off the bus, walk forward for 10 minutes to reach Xiasi and Huoquan.

You can go up and down the mountain by walking on the mountain road (20 minutes) or by taking a tricycle (5 yuan/person, 10 yuan/car).
