Shaxian Phoenix Theme Park was formerly known as Shayang Amusement Park. It was the largest amusement park in central and western Fujian at the time. It was a symmetrical, transparent, and grand European-style park that integrated mountains, forests, water, flowers, grass, sculptures, music, and fountains. The spacious and elegant features are combined with the winding paths, waterside pavilions and pavilions of Chinese classical gardens to create a comprehensive amusement park integrating fitness, entertainment, leisure and sports.

Shayang Paradise is an urban park built by the Shaxian County Party Committee and County Government in the mid-1990s, relying on the reconstruction of national highways. It covers an area of ​​1,212 acres and surrounds the central square of the park hub. It is surrounded by the Memorial of History, Phoenix Mountain Forest Park, and Forest Bathing Park. More than 10 functional areas, including the farm, lake center island, leisure villa, fishing and barbecue area, and children's playground, were officially opened to tourists on December 8, 1997, at the opening of the China Shaxian Snack Culture Festival.
