Scenic spot introduction:

Shenyang Chang'an Temple is an important place for Buddhist activities in Shenyang and is the oldest building complex in Shenyang. The temple was first built during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty. There is a folk saying that "there was Chang'an Temple first, and then Shenyang City". Over the past hundreds of years, Chang'an Temple has gone through vicissitudes of life and suffered serious damage. After several repairs in 1985, the temple restored its original appearance and was developed as a tourist attraction. In 1988, it was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit.

Attractions distribution:

Chang'an Temple faces south and is a three-entry quadrangle. On the central axis of the temple from south to north, there are mountain gate, Tianwang Hall, theater building, worship hall, main hall and back hall. There are also cultural buildings with Ming Dynasty characteristics such as the Tianwang Hall, the Main Hall, the Bhikkhu Altar, and the Sutra Pavilion. The entire temple is solemn and full of incense. It is not only a temple for Buddhist lovers, but also a good place for ordinary tourists to relax and meditate.
