Shenyang Qixing Mountain Scenic Area Tourism Guide

Scenic spot introduction:

The Qixing Mountain Scenic Area is named for its mountainous distribution that resembles the shape of the Big Dipper. The scenic area is located in Shifosi Township, Xinchengzi District, with the Liao River at its back and Shenyang in the south. Shenming Highway runs through the territory and is close to the edge of the scenic area, surrounded by greenery. It has crisscrossed ravines, rich cultural landscapes, and numerous historical sites. It is also the birthplace of the Xibe people and the settlement of the Korean people. It is a place with both natural and cultural landscapes.

Attractions distribution:

Qixing Mountain was formed at the end of the Jurassic period. It was originally composed of seven mountain tops including Nanshan Mountain and Tashan Mountain. It is distributed with more than 20 ravines such as Fox Valley. There is a spring on the south slope of Tashan Mountain. The spring water is clear and sweet all year round. The main peak was built in The ancient pagoda of the Liao Dynasty in 1074, the stone Buddhist temple built by the Tuoba clan of the Northern Wei Dynasty, the ruins of the "Shuangzhou Ancient City", the ruins of the Han Family Garden built in the Liao and Jin Dynasties, the Ming Dynasty border wall and beacon tower, and the Liaohe River built by Zuo Baogui in the Qing Dynasty There are war relics such as Taotihe Monument and modern war bunkers; in recent years, due to modern stone mining, Qixing Mountain has been hollowed out, forming several half-wall rock mountains and valley depressions. Since it is surrounded by plains, it is difficult to climb to the top of the mountain. With a sweeping view of the surrounding countryside, the meandering Liao River can be seen to the north.
