Scenic spot introduction:

Shihezi Premier Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall is a park built to commemorate Premier Zhou Enlai's inspection in Shihezi. It is located in Beiquan Town, Shihezi City, Xinjiang. On July 5, 1965, Premier Zhou Enlai and Vice Premier Chen Yi went to Shihezi Reclamation Area in Xinjiang on their way back from a visit to China. They cordially met with cadres, workers and young people from the Shanghai branch in a wide poplar forest belt at the Shihezi General Field. The important speech "Choice" has played a role in promoting the development of various undertakings in Xinjiang and the vast number of educated youths who are at ease with the border and building the border. On January 8, 1976, Premier Zhou Enlai passed away. In order to commemorate Premier Zhou's great achievements, the Communist Youth League Party Committee decided to build monuments, memorial halls and other buildings at the place where Premier Zhou met with the youth representatives from the Shanghai branch. They were opened to the public in March 1978. It has now become a cultural relic protection unit and a patriotism education base in the autonomous region, as well as a national youth patriotism education base.
