The ancient city wall of Shouxian County is one of the seven relatively complete ancient city walls in China. It has a solid foundation and majestic momentum. The ancient city wall not only has a long history, but also plays an important role in flood control to this day. Legends closely related to the city wall include "the love of licking a calf", "defending the city on the day of Liu Ren's death", "face to face with gongs and opposites with drums", "people in the door", "people's hearts are not enough and snakes swallow elephants" and other legends have been passed down to this day.

There are four gates in the ancient city wall of Shouxian County: Binyang Gate in the east, Tongfei Gate in the south, Dinghu Gate in the west, and Jinghuai Gate in the north. Climbing the city wall, there are different scenery outside and on the city wall. Entry to the tower on Binyang Gate at the east gate of the ancient city wall is 10 yuan per person, and admission to the tower on Tongfei Gate at the south gate is 5 yuan per person.
