Sichuan Anyue Grottoes, also known as Anyue Grottoes, is located in Anyue County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province, China. It is the county with the highest concentration of ancient Buddhist statue sites in China. Currently, 200 grotto statues and more than 100,000 statues have been discovered, especially those of the Tang Dynasty. The magnificence of the statues of the Song Dynasty and the exquisiteness of the statues of the Song Dynasty are world-famous. In the history of Chinese stone carving art, it has a special status as the successor to Yungang and Longmen and to the Dazu Rock Carvings. In 2000, it was awarded the title of "Hometown of Chinese Stone Carvings".

Sichuan Anyue Stone Carvings has 70 grotto statue protection units of various types, including 9 national-level grotto cultural relics protection units, namely Reclining Buddha Temple, Xuanmiao Temple, Qianfo Village, Yuanjue Cave, Huayan Cave, Pilu Cave, Mingshan Temple, Peacock Cave, Mumen Temple. There are 5 key cultural relics protection units in Sichuan Province, including Antang Temple, Fo'er Rock, Gaosheng Buddhist Temple, Xichan Temple, and Tapo. There are 50 county-level cultural relics protection units and 60 county-level cultural relics protection sites. With the third national cultural relics census, many cave temples have been rediscovered. Sichuan Province will apply for important projects as world cultural heritage.
