Larung Gar Buddhist College in Sedar, Sichuan is the largest Tibetan Buddhist college in the world. Larung Gar Buddhist College is located in Seda County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Origin of Larung Gar Buddhist College: In 1980, Master Xinlong Lama Jigme Phuntsok, regardless of his old age and frailty. After several years of development, the scale of the study point has continued to expand, and its popularity has also increased. Larung Gar Buddhist College has a very rich curriculum focusing on Tibetan culture, which is mainly distributed in the three departments of common culture, exoteric teaching, tantra and Chinese monks. The Han Monk Division is mainly set up for believers from the Han region who come here to study. It is divided into junior, intermediate and advanced classes.
