Xuebaoding National Nature Reserve in Sichuan is rich in geological and landform landscapes and has a wide variety of wild animals and plants. It is a crucial component of the giant panda corridor connecting the Minshan Mountains. Xuebaoding spans 4 towns in Pingwu, with a total area of 63,615 hectares. There are 324 species of vertebrates and more than 3,000 species of higher plants in the area. The main peak is surrounded by many peaks.
