Scenic spot introduction:

Tengwang Pavilion is known as the first of the "Three Famous Towers in the South of the Yangtze River". It is famous throughout the ages and is famous all over the world because of a majestic essay - "Preface to Tengwang Pavilion" written by Wang Bo, the leader of the "Four Heroes of the Early Tang Dynasty". It is ranked with the Yellow Crane Tower in Hubei and the Yueyang Tower in Hunan. It is also known as the "Three Famous Buildings in Jiangnan". Tengwang Pavilion is located on the east bank of Ganjiang River along Yanjiang Road in the northwest of Nanchang City, the capital of Jiangxi Province. It is adjacent to the city and adjacent to the river, and is magnificent. The Tengwang Pavilion was built in the fourth year of Yonghui in the Tang Dynasty. It was named after Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin, who built it. In ancient times, it was regarded as an auspicious Feng Shui building and has been valued and protected by all dynasties.
Historically, Tengwang Pavilion has been rebuilt a total of 29 times. Although it has been repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt, and the current building has been renovated in modern times, it is still one of the must-visit attractions for people coming to Nanchang. There are countless poems written by literati with the theme of Tengwang Pavilion, including many beautiful poems left by cultural masters such as Zhang Jiuling, Bai Juyi, Du Mu, Su Shi, Wang Anshi, Zhu Xi, Huang Tingjian, Xin Qiji, Li Qingzhao, Wen Tianxiang and Tang Xianzu. Walking in the corridor, looking at the vast waters of Ganjiang River, although the opposite bank has long been lined with high-rise buildings, it is no longer the same scenery as it used to be, but I always feel a little emotional when I think about the scene where literati and elegant people recited poems and composed poems here.
