Cherry blossoms usually bloom at the end of March or early April, and the flowering period is only one week. The cherry blossoms in Ueno Park usually bloom two or three days earlier than the blooming period announced by the Meteorological Agency. If you are lucky, you can see the cherry blossoms in advance. There are a lot of people during the Sakura Festival, so it is recommended to go as early as possible to get a good seat.
