Tongzhou Grand Canal Forest Park covers a total area of 10,700 acres. It is grand in overall momentum and embodies the characteristics of the canal as wide as a mirror, the flat forests as waves, and the picturesque green poplar trees, showing the coexistence of modernity and simplicity. The entire park constitutes "one river, two banks, six major scenic spots, and eighteen scenic spots. It is an ideal place for people to relax, outdoor camping, and cultural entertainment. It is also unique to Tongzhou and the only canal ecological natural oxygen bar in Beijing. The Grand Canal Forest Park is distributed in a strip on both sides of the North Canal. There are 5 docks with special functions built along the coast, which serve as docking places for water tours. The six major scenic spots include Luhe Peach and Willow Scenic Area, Yuedao Wenying Scenic Area, Silver Maple Autumn Scenic Area, Jungle Vitality Scenic Area, Mingjing Yizhou Scenic Area, and Gaotai Pinglin Scenic Area. Eighteen scenic spots are distributed among the six major scenic spots, namely Peach Willows Reflecting the Bank, Elm Bridge Spring Scenery, Tea House Chatting Evening, Huangmu Ancient Ferry, Changhong Flower Rain, Moon Island Painting Scenery, Wetland Frogs, Half-Mountain Houses, Silver Maple Autumn Fruits, and Maple Forest. The fragrance of tea, the storage in greenhouses, the popular reeds, the jungle singing, the two brocades are made of heaven, the mirror moves the boat, the plain forest smokes trees, the jujube is painted like paint, and the high platform is vast. How to get there:
In urban areas, you can take Metro Line 1 at Sihuidong Station, transfer to Batong Line, get off at Tuqiao Station, exit from Southwest Exit C, transfer to Bus No. 20, get off at Chuangzhan Home Station, and walk to the Grand Canal Forest South gate of the park.
