Travel Guide to Emperor Yan’s Mausoleum in Gaoping, Shaanxi

The Mausoleum of Emperor Yan in Gaoping, Shaanxi Province, the Mausoleum of Emperor Yan in Yanling County, Hunan Province, the Mausoleum of Emperor Yan in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, and the Mausoleum of Emperor Yan in Shangqiu City, Henan Province are also known as the four major mausoleums of Emperor Yan in China. Among them, the Yandi Mausoleum in Zhuangli Village is a sacred place for us descendants of Yan and Huang to trace their roots and inquire about their ancestors, visit the mausoleum and sweep tombs. It is the first mausoleum in China. The mountains and rivers here are beautiful and the scenery is beautiful. The mausoleum area is surrounded by ravines on the east, west and south sides, and the hills on the north side are undulating and the green mountains are reflected in the green. Looking west to the Yangtou Mountain, it looks majestic and tall; looking south to the Dan River Valley, the clouds are steaming and the clouds are shining. The Xiaodongcang River flows trickling under the feet, and Emperor Yan, the ancestor of the Chinese nation, is buried here. The Mausoleum of Emperor Yan in Gaoping, Shaanxi Province is located in Zhuangli Village, 17 kilometers northeast of Gaoping City.
