The Golden Temple is located in the center of the Indian border city of Amritsar, covering an area of about 10 hectares. 1. Pilgrims and tourists must take off their shoes, wash their feet and wrap their heads before entering the temple. There is a free place to store shoes before entering the temple.
2. Tourists can only take pictures in the clockwise walkway of the pool and marble road surrounding the Golden Temple. Photography is prohibited after entering the Golden Temple.
3. Although the golden light of the Golden Temple lit up at night is very beautiful, the Golden Temple accompanied by the solemn prayers also has a special atmosphere at sunrise and sunset.
